Spotlight: Project Jupiter's Custom Open Limousine Tender

16 October 2020

Builder: Compass Tenders

Length: 11.2 metres

A world-class superyacht calls for a world-class tender, a task that fell to British tender specialist Compass. The mothership - the 123 metre Project Jupiter - required a slick, custom tender that could whisk guests from ship to shore in comfort and style.

From the boards of H2 Yacht Design, a custom 11.3 metre open limousine tender was chosen to be the perfect partner to Project Jupiter, sporting curved lines and elongated oval windows designed to mimic that of her mothership. An innovative open-back design offers guests shelter from the elements – whether it be glaring sun or blustery wind - while a retractable glazed sunroof allows the interior seating to be completely open on fairer days.

Her plush interior features two metres of headroom, supple marine leather seating to port and starboard and an integrated iPad to control the lighting.

Power comes from twin 300hp Volvo Penta D4 sterndrive engines and delivers a top speed of 38 knots, ensuring a swift ride for up to 10 guests.

The open limousine was just one of four custom tenders by Compass delivered to Project Jupiter including a 9.1 metre utility tender and an 8.2 metre D-RIB.
