Italian studio Nauta Design needs little by way of introduction to the yachting community, having penned the biggest superyacht in the world, 180-metre Azzam. And with three superyachts currently under construction - a combined LOA of 250 metres - the studio continues to push the boundaries of design. Founded in 1985, Nauta Design offers interior and exterior design services while also catering to the brokerage market under its sales and charter division.
The studio is guided by its philosophy to deliver yachts with balance, clean lines and a seamless connection between the interior and exterior. Projects such as 39-metre sailing yacht My Song, 35-metre sailing yacht Nikata and motor yacht Azzam — which held the title of the world’s largest privately owned yacht from 2013 until the delivery of 183-metre superyacht REV — are just a few examples of the studio’s built portfolio alongside conceptual work. More importantly, these projects reflect the studio’s ability to build strong collaborations with leading naval architects and yacht owners.
