Previously known as Aspire, the 51-metre expedition yacht Masquenada was launched in 2021 at the Lusben shipyard in Italy. Belonging to sailing enthusiast and fashion mogul Pier Luigi Loro Piana, Masquenada was purchased with the help of Nauta Design in October 2020 and was converted in a mere eight months.

In order to fulfil the owner's brief, the external profile of the boat was extended in the stern block with an added transformer to double the size of the yacht's beach area. The larger aft deck hides an integrated powerful crane below deck in the lazarette and an additional 1.5 metres of length to both the bridge and upper deck was conceived through the help of 3D scanning.

She can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms, with 11 crew members. The 572 GT yacht can reach a top speed of 14.4 knots and a cruising speed of 11.5 knots thanks to twin Caterpillar diesel engines.
