With six hulls sold in less than a year from its grand debut at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival, Sirena Yachts has perfected the pocket superyacht. The Sirena 88 is the flagship of its Turkish shipyard and packs a punch with five cabins, a 55 square-metre sundeck and a dipping pool at the bow. Not only is it the builder's first foray into the 24 metre-plus market but it's the brand’s first tri-decker. Sirena product manager Tanıl Surmeli gives us the lowdown...
How did the project come about?
The Sirena 88 was planned to be the flagship of this range from the very beginning. She is the connection to our new superyacht line. Our target was to design a home comfort boat by pushing the exterior and interior living spaces to the limits without having to compromise on its overall aesthetic and performance. I believe they all melted well in the same pot.
What are the standout features on board?
The biggest standout feature without a doubt is the owner's cabin. This full-beam cabin has full height windows to each side and offers direct access to a private foredeck lounge area complete with an optional dipping pool. This is also a unique feature for a boat this size. The second feature I would highlight would be the extremely large customisable flybridge. This size of exterior space is even hard to find in some 35 metre boats.
When is the next scheduled delivery?
So far we have delivered three boats to their owners and the next one is to be delivered within May 2021. In total, we have three more boats under production and all of them sold as well.
