16 December 2020

Builder: Pershing

Length: 43.3 metres

Top speed: 38 knots

The Pershing 140, the flagship of its Italian builder, brings together the best of speed and style. The model is not only Pershing’s first all-aluminium superyacht but is also the first to feature a raised helm station that is directly connected to the sun deck.

Stretching 43.3 metres, the fully-customisable Pershing 140 offers plenty of living space across her three decks. Sun pads and a hot tub are located forward at the bow of the yacht, offering excellent views out to sea, and are complemented by a choice of al fresco entertaining and dining spaces aft.

For entertaining, the Pershing 140 features formal dining indoors and lounge areas artfully finished in a contemporary design. There is also a drinks bar with high stools for enjoying aperitifs in true Italian style, with the option to include another bar up on the flybridge.

Guests accommodation is for up to 18, split across five capacious cabins, with a further four cabins for crew. The owner’s suite features a private study and an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and sits in pride of place forward on the main deck.

In another first for the shipbuilder, the Pershing 140 features a beach club that can open fully on three sides for a welcome sea breeze and extended sea-level lounge area. Lounge chairs can be set up for sunbathing or drying off after water sports, while transom steps mean guests can get in and out of the water with ease.

The distinct shape of the bow enhances the model's aerodynamics, and the streamlined design of the Pershing 140, combined with the power of her four MTU 16 V 2000 M96L 2600 HP, engines allows the yacht to reach an impressive top speed of 38 knots.

When cruising at a speed of 35 knots, she has a range of 1,400 nautical miles.
