Spotlight: Westport's in-build 52m flagship

1 May 2021

Name: Westport 172

Length: 52.5 metre

Builder: Westport

Asking: $46,000,000 with Westport Yachts

The Westport 172 was unveiled in August 2019 and will become Westport’s new flagship when it hits the water in 2022. Currently under construction, the 52 metre flagship is based on the builder’s existing 50 metre platform and retains many of the same features, such as a wide swim platform and exterior decks large enough to accommodate a helipad.

The biggest difference is a new and improved beach club set-up with two shell doors that open to launch tenders and form two large sea terraces. With the tenders launched, the area transforms into a vast beach club lounge open on three sides, offering much more space than its predecessor.

The Westport 172 can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a master suite on the main deck with an office, his and hers bathrooms, a walk-in dressing room and a private fixed balcony to port. Owners are able to customise the yacht’s sub-500 GT interior with a number of different layout options available.

Currently under construction, the Westport 172 is asking $46,000,000 with Westport Yachts.
