€1M price drop on sailing yacht Emmaline
by Malcolm Maclean
The 32.33 metre sailing yacht Emmaline, listed for sale by Will Bishop at Yachting Partners International, has had a €1,000,000 price reduction.
Designed by Gerard Djikstra, she was built with an aluminium hull and teak superstructure by Dutch yard Holland Jachtbouw to Lloyd's class and delivered in 2003 as a performance cruiser. She underwent a refit last year. Accommodation is for up to seven guests in a master suite, double and a twin plus a Pullman berth, all with entertainment centres and en suite shower facilities. In addition, there are two cabins for four crew.
The aft cockpit of this yacht for sale is dedicated for the owner’s use with padded seating, while the forward cockpit is a sociable working area and an al fresco dining venue. The deckhouse has teak and cherry wood joinery with windows on all four sides and comes with a U-shaped banquette seating up to six guests around the dining table. Below, the saloon offers further comfortable seating and an entertainment centre including a 26-inch television screen and a Bose Lifestyle stereo surround sound system.
On the technical side, she has a carbon main mast and boom featuring two Reckmann in-boom furling systems, a new inventory of Doyle sails and ten Lewmar hydraulic drum winches. A special feature is a one-touch button that can hydraulically raise the 23 ton keel by two metres to ease access to shallower waters.
On display at the forthcoming brokerage show in Palma, Spain, Emmaline is now asking €2,950,000.
