€500,000 price drop on Trehard sailing yacht Ocean’s Seven 2
by Malcolm MacLean
The 31.8 metre sailing yacht Ocean’s Seven 2, listed for sale by Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage, has had a €500,000 price reduction.
Built in aluminium by the renowned French yard Tréhard to a design by Jacques Fauroux and delivered in 1998 with refits in 2004 and 2010, Ocean’s Seven 2 was designed with maximum comfort and ultimate performance in mind.
A sloop with vast, clean decks and offering plenty of space and comfort both inside and out, she is exhilarating under sail, her fair lines and long waterline assuring excellent sailing performance.
She is also the only sailing yacht of her size to offer no less than three berth combinations for eight guests: four king-size berths or eight twins or a suite with one king and three twin cabins. In addition, there are quarters for four crew aboard this yacht for sale.
On deck the enormous cockpit, free of winches and lines, encourages convivial relaxation, whilst the helm cockpit aft offers a place for the crew to work easily with access to their quarters below. Wide steps on the reverse transom also give immediate dinghy and water access. Under power, a single Cummins diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of 10 knots.
Lying in the south of France, Ocean’s Seven 2 is now asking €1,995,000.
