The 55.7-metre Feadship motor yacht Illusion I is newly listed for sale with Stig Jensen of SuperYachtsMonaco.
Designed by De Voogt, she was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to Lloyd's class and delivered in 1983. In 2010 a major refit at Pendennis saw her receive a five-metre extension to accommodate a new beach club and garage while her teak decks were renewed and she received a fresh interior from Bannenberg & Rowell.
Accommodation is for up 12 guests in six cabins consisting of a master and VIP suite on the main deck with two doubles and two twins below, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for up to 14 crew members in a double and six en suite twin cabins.
An expansive main saloon features a warm décor and offers several separate seating areas for small groups or large social events, served by a generous bar and an entertainment centre including a 42-inch plasma television screen. Further forward, a large oval table seating up to 12 guests.
The 2010 refit saw several enhancements made to her outdoor areas and she now boasts a vast aft deck featuring a table seating 12 guests and a full bar, ensuring that al fresco cocktails and dining go with a swing. Up on the sun deck the fun continues, helped by sun pads, dining area and a Jacuzzi.
Twin 1,125hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
