The 29 metre sailing yacht Patea, jointly listed for sale by James Nason at Fraser and Emek Marin in Turkey, has been sold with the Australian buyer introduced by Emek Marin.
Built in GRP by Turkish yard Alia Yachts with exterior styling and interior design by Warwick Yacht Design, Patea was delivered in 2012. Accommodation in an interior contrasting light oak flooring with dark America walnut is for eight guests in four cabins comprising a master suite, double and two twins. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, HD television screens and en suite facilities while the crew quarters sleep four members of staff.
The extended coachroof provides UV protection to the open cockpit below just one step down from the aft deck and double steering stations with overhead skylights and twin folding tables plus perimeter seating in comfort for 10 guests. The main saloon provides a space that can be converted from an informal lounge by day to an entertainment area at night where a fully equipped bar to port offers pre-dinner drinks and canapés. Meanwhile, a sophisticated entertainment centre includes a 40-inch HD television screen and a Bose stereo surround sound system
Another innovative feature on the aft deck is a generous sunbed with life raft storage underneath. At night the sunbeds can be transformed into an informal al fresco dining area by simply lifting the central portion which forms a table. Under power, a single 435hp Volvo Penta diesel engine delivers a range of 2,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Patea was asking €2,950,000.
