A $1,495,000 price drop has been confirmed on the 37.7-metre motor yacht Ariadne, listed for sale by Nicholas Olinde at HMY Yacht Sales.
Ariadne was built in aluminium by US yard Breaux Baycraft. Delivered in 1980, she had the same owner for her first nine years of service.
The interior of this yacht for sale accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite, double and a twin, all with entertainment centres, LCD television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
In 2021 Ariadne benefitted from an extensive refit, a transformation which earned her a spot as nominee and finalist at 2021's World Superyacht Awards in the 'Refit of the Year' category.
During the refit the sundeck was completely overhauled, now with a spa tub, bar, cocktail areas, al fresco dining and a barbeque. The space now also has a fully equipped gym, including adjustable weights, two aerobic machines and two mountain bikes for exploring ashore.
Her interior boasts new lighting, updated entertainment systems and internet services, while a refreshed galley includes a new five-burner Verona range with double ovens.
A 2018 refit saw her interiors completely overhauled, with the addition of carpets and Art Deco motifs displayed throughout. In the main saloon, two sofas and two armchairs are located in front of access to the aft deck, where al fresco dining is found.
Up on the flybridge, the helm is situated on the centreline, while aft of the helm station console is a wet bar with a stainless steel sink, ice maker and refrigerator box. Further aft and to starboard is a three-burner propane gas grill.
Across from the grill on the port side is a high gloss table for 10 guests, mounted on double aluminium pedestals and with blue fabric cushions on the seating.
Four 650hp John Deere diesel engines power Ariadne to a cruising speed of 14 knots and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
Ariadne is now asking $4,500,000.
