by Malcolm Maclean
Sold in October 2017, the 37 metre motor Parenthesis is back on the market, listed for sale by Rita Bartulane at Moran Yacht & Ship.
Built in Kevlar reinforced composite by French yard Chantier Naval Couach, to an in-house design, Parenthesis was delivered in 2009 as one of the yard’s 3700 series. An interior by Danielle Chopard, in wenge and rare ebony woods contrasting with white lacquered ceilings, accommodates 12 guests in six cabins.
Guest accommodation consists of a master suite on the main deck, a full beam VIP suite, two doubles and two twins, all with entertainment centres, LCD television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
The saloon is open plan and in the aft area has a large sofa, occasional chairs and an entertainment centre including a 42 inch LCD television screen. Forward is a dining area with formal seating for 12 guests while al fresco entertaining and dining is available on the aft deck, seating up to 12 guests around a large dining table.
More outdoor living is offered on the expansive flybridge with comfortable seating, a dining area served by a wet bar, grill, fridge and ice maker, all sheltered by a fixed hard top, while further aft is a sunbathing area with sun pads and teak lounging chairs.
She boasts a long-range capability and a high-performance hull, which can comfortably cruise at 22 knots with a range of 2,000 nautical miles courtesy of twin 2,735hp MTU diesel engines. Fitted with the latest generation of gyroscopic stabilisers by Seakeeper, the yacht is extremely comfortable at anchor and at sea.
Parenthesis is listed with Price on Application.
