The 47.52 motor yacht Azzurra II, listed for sale by Peter Hurzeler at Ocean Independence in September 2020, has received a price reduction of €400,000.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard CRN to a design by Gerhard Gilgenast, she was delivered in 1988 and was a trailblazer in the area of floor-to-ceiling, back-to-back windows, flooding her interiors with light.
She accommodates 12 guests in five cabins laid out as an upper deck master suite with no fewer than 21 windows, two doubles and two twins with Pullman berths, and all cabins have entertainment centres, flatscreen television sets and en suite bathroom facilities.
Large windows throughout allow natural light to fill the interior and bounce off the cream furnishings and white leathers, with a 1980s mirrored ceiling in the upper saloon, which helps to open the space further.
In 2008 she received a refit that transformed the sun deck into the ultimate sunbathing and entertainment zone with a Jacuzzi for six, a bar with a built-in gas grill, and an outdoor cinema beneath the shade of a custom hardtop. She has continued to benefit from further and regular upgrades including a full repaint and new main engines in 2013, along with new zero-speed stabilisers and carpets throughout all guest areas in 2014.
Twin MAN D2862 diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 14 knots topping out at 16 knots and a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. For added safety and comfort she is fitted with CMC zero speed stabilisers.
Lying in Bodrum, Turkey, Azzurra II is asking €7,500,000.
