Feadship motor yacht Rock.It for sale
by Malcolm Maclean
The 60.35 metre motor yacht Rock.It has been jointly listed for sale by Northrop & Johnson and Burgess.
Designed by Sinot Design, she was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to Lloyds class and MCA coded with delivery in 2014. A luxurious interior with panelling in flame mahogany accommodates 10 guests in five cabins. These consist of a full beam master suite on the main deck, two VIP suites, a double and a twin, all with satellite television screens, Kaleidescape on-demand audio and video systems, and en suite bathroom facilities. There are also quarters for 12 crew aboard this yacht for sale.
Stepping from the covered aft main deck dominated by a huge teak table, the saloon has a curved onyx bar that glows thanks to subtle backlighting, casting a warm light on beautifully veined Portoro marble. A mahogany ring frames a dome in the overhead, establishing a theme carried throughout the main and bridge decks. There is no formal dining room but that does not mean that indoor dining has been ignored. The forward end of the expansive main deck saloon is anchored by a Sinot-designed light fixture hanging over a stunning custom table by Pollaro Custom Furniture in Macassar ebony and lighter veneers in a sunburst pattern. At either side of the dining table, glass bulkheads slide open, leading to terraces folding out from the bulwarks.
Exterior spaces are generous, too, and she boasts no fewer than three bars on her decks to make partying go with a swing. Twin 1,520hp MTU diesel engines give her a range of 5,300 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots.
