Fraser Yachts develops 'augmented reality' concept with Superyacht Media

10 December 2012 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

Patrick Coote at Fraser Yachts sends word that they've been working with our sister company, Superyacht Media, on a new marketing concept called augmented reality.

Augmented reality is a new technology that Fraser has been monitoring for some time and now believes it has some very relevant applications for the superyacht industry. In short, it allows Fraser Yachts’ clients to use a mobile device (phone or tablet) to enhance what they are viewing, by adding information or video content. The best way of explaining the concept is to view the video above.

The Fraser Yachts advertisements in the latest issues of Boat International & ShowBoats magazines launch an augmented reality video that explains how Fraser Yachts will be utilising this technology in 2013 and beyond.
