Hargrave motor yacht Forever Young sold

The 29.57 metre motor yacht Forever Young, listed for sale by Bruce Schattenburg at Denison Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Whit Kirtland and Mitch Flinn at Bradford Marine Yacht Sales.

Built in GRP by Hargrave Custom Yachts to a design by JB Hargrave, Forever Young was delivered in 2002 and fully refitted in 2012 with many upgrades since. Yacht Interiors by Shelley created an elegant interior in cherry wood accommodating eight guests in four cabins configured as a full beam master suite, two VIP suites and a triple, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.

In the main saloon lounge, to port is a sectional leather sofa and a contemporary recliner. To starboard are two swivel barrel chairs and an entertainment centre including a 46-inch Samsung LCD television screen on a rise and fall mechanism. The lounge and dining areas are open to each other and separated by a low-profile buffet cabinet. Forward is a formal dining area at a smoked glass dining table with a wooden base, seating eight guests.

Outside, the aft deck is fully fitted for al fresco relaxation with built-in upholstered seating, a table, fridge and a weatherproof 32-inch Samsung television screen. Up on the flybridge, forward are three helm seats while aft are two large seating areas with tables, a fridge and a barbecue grill.

Twin 1,400hp Caterpillar diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 16 knots topping out at 20 knots and she is fitted with Naiad fin stabilisers.

Forever Young was asking $2,500,000.
