The 24.5 metre Naumachos explorer yacht Akula has been listed for sale by Y.CO.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Cantiere Navale di Pesaro to a design by Studio Faggioni, who also designed the interior, she was delivered in 2006 as one of three Naumachos 82 models. Accommodation is for up to eight guests in four cabins comprising a full-beam master suite, VIP suite and two twins. All guest cabins have entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities, while a further two cabins can sleep up to four crewmembers.
Designed for long periods at sea, Akula has virtually unlimited freshwater production, large freezers, refrigerators and well-equipped internal and external galleys, huge overall storage capacity, and robust systems throughout.
Maximum navigation safety is guaranteed, allowing sailing in wind strengths greater than force eight and wave heights above four metres. Combined with an efficient hydraulic stabilising system — zero-speed and underway — total comfort at sea is assured.
Power comes from a 700hp Baudouin diesel engine delivering a cruising speed of 10.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles. A Nanni diesel auxiliary engine provides owners with additional assurance generating 6.5 knots of speed at just 20 litres per hour fuel consumption.
Akula is asking €2,500,000 with VAT paid.
