New Canados 888 Evo motor yacht sold

New Canados 888 Evo motor yacht sold

A new-build 27.02 metre Canados motor yacht has been sold with the buyer introduced by Sebastien Clave at Northrop & Johnson.

Built with an Aramat/Kevlar hull and superstructure, she is set for delivery in 2020 as a Canados 888 Evo model. Accommodation is for eight guests across four cabins - two twins, a VIP suite and a full beam master suite, all decorated in the same design. Bathrooms are equipped with custom-made wash basins in Striato Olimpico marble. Meanwhile the crew quarters can accommodate a staff of three.

Designed by Michela Reverberi, her custom interiors include a mixture of washed satin oak and ebony, lending her a modern art-deco style. All in-house built furniture has been designed with rounded edges equipped with indirect strip LED lights which, when lit in the dark, give the impression that the furniture is floating.

The model is the successor to the popular Canados 86, which has spawned 46 hulls to date. Key upgrades to note are redesigned portholes, floor-to-ceiling windows, a foredeck lounge and an aft-facing cockpit sofa, which offers great views out to sea due to the low-profile transom.

Other standout features include a four metre tender garage accommodating a Williams 3.85 metre jet tender, a hardtop bimini and a Seakeeper gyroscopic stabiliser system, which promises a smooth cruising experience. Power comes from a pair of Caterpillar C32 ACERT 1,925hp engines for a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots.

The Canados 888 Evo was asking €5,240,000.
