Patrick Coote becomes Marketing Director of superyacht services group Yachtique

I wasn't too surprised by the news that Patrick Coote, Marketing Manager of Fraser Yachts has now also been appointed Marketing Director of sister company Yachtique, as he's done a great job over the past three years of raising the profile of Fraser Yachts itself.

Yachtique was launched by Azimut Benetti in 2008 and offers a high-end concierge service to luxury yacht owners through the entire life cycle of ownership from acquisition to operation and on to refit and sale. The company's activities range from yacht financing to marina berths and from maintenance and refit to executive jet transfers.

Despite being brought up in landlocked Surrey in England, Patrick says that he's wanted to work with superyachts since the age of 10. He formerly worked for the British Marine Industries Federation, marketing the London and Southampton Boat Shows before joining Boat International as assistant editor and overseeing the launch of the first edition of The Superports annual supplement. Patrick says: "The luxury yacht world and marketing have always been my passions and the directorship at Yachtique is the realisation of a lifelong aim."
