The 46.5 metre sailing yacht Piropo IV has been sold with Levante Mare Yachts representing the seller and both Hargrave Yachts and Afroudakis Yachting introducing the buyer. The Perini Navi sailing yacht will now be renamed Tamarita.
Built in steel and aluminium by Perini Navi to an in-house design and ABS classed, Piropo IV was delivered in 1991 and has had a regular maintenance programme since, including a full repaint in 2017. Accommodation is for up to eight guests in four cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and two twins, all with Kaleidescape on-demand visual and audio systems and all with full en suite facilities. A further four cabins sleep up to eight crewmembers aboard this yacht for sale.
The lounging area in the main saloon is panelled in light woods and offers comfortable seating, a state of the art entertainment centre including a large screen television, and a bar for maximum entertainment potential. Forward is a dining area with seating for up to eight guests
Overall, her open-plan layout is ideal for seamless indoor-outdoor living, including a swim platform, a large aft deck with built-in upholstered seating around an oval table for al fresco dining and an extended flybridge with seating areas, a barbecue grill and sun pads.
On the technical side, Piropo IV is ketch rigged and has a full wardrobe of North Sails, Bamar furling gear and an Antal 200 electric winch in the main mast. Under power, twin 640hp MTU diesel engines power her to a maximum speed of 14 knots and, drawing on 11,000 litre fuel tanks, a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Piropo IV was asking €5,950,000 and will be available for charter under her new name.
