Brian Huse at Freedom Marine reports a $400,000 price drop on the 37m expedition yacht Kahu.

Built for the New Zealand Navy in 1979, she was converted into a world cruiser by Fitzroy Yachts in 2012 with a new aluminium superstructure. Kahu sleeps up to 16 guests in six staterooms, and twin 365hp Cummins engines give her a range of 7,000 nautical miles.

In 2012, Kahu completed a transformation to near ice class specifications with a refit cost of effectively $8,000,000. She is a proven explorer with more than 10,000 miles under her hull and is awaiting her next adventure.

Kahu is now down from $3.9 million to $3.5 million.
