The superyachts for sale at the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2019

Stand out features: She has a beautiful saloon with plentiful seating, including a love seat, ottoman, leather game seat, chairs and table and a wet bar. There is a full entertainment arrangement with an HD Smart TV and home theatre system. Further forward and adjoining the main saloon is the formal dining area.

The basics: US yard Christensen began construction on Ionian Princess and she was moved to the Palmer Johnson yard for completion, and delivered in 2005 with refits in 2011 and 2016. She offers a great layout for charter with a huge sun deck, larger than most on a yacht of this size, plus accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins consisting of a large on-deck master suite, a full beam VIP suite below plus three doubles and a twin.

Stand out features: The interior features high-gloss varnished mahogany raised paneling and fluted columns, with a curved stairway running from the main deck to the upper saloon and on up to the sun deck. Guest amenities include a fully-equipped office with worldwide internet access and a spa pool.

Stand out features: The saloon is cosy and evokes a sense of relaxation, featuring multiple armchairs and sofas, as well as two coffee tables and an entertainment centre including a large Samsung television screen and a stereo surround sound system.

The basics: Carolina was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by Guido de Groot and delivered in 1997 with an extensive refit in 2014. The light, bright interior was designed by John Munford and is characterised by a recurring Art Deco motif, accommodating up to 12 guests in five cabins. These comprise a full beam master suite, two doubles with queen-sized beds and two twins, each with a Pullman berth. All guest cabins have entertainment centres and marble en suite bathroom facilities while a further five cabins sleep 10 crewmembers aboard this yacht for sale.

Stand out features: A particular favourite with guests is the sky lounge. There, a pair of easy chairs and a sofa, upholstered in white, are grouped around a coffee table and face a flat screen television for a perfect night at the movies. Curved glass sliding doors open this room to the boat deck. Twin 905hp Caterpillar diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 13 knots topping out at 14 knots.

The basics: Launched in October 2010, Qing is the second in the Cheoy Lee yard's Marco Polo range designed by Ron Holland. Lloyd’s classed and MCA compliant, her hull is in steel with a composite superstructure. She is powered by a single Caterpillar 3512B engine of 1,911hp giving a long range of 6,600 nautical miles at an economical speed.

Stand out features: The décor on this yacht for sale is contemporary with horizontally banded gloss-finished Macassar ebony making up much of the panelling and built-in furnishings. Rich walnut floors add a masculine look. Window treatments are simple so as not to restrict views, while the sophisticated, multi-level lighting design creates suitable night-time ambiance or brightens grey days.

Stand out features: On the sun deck, al fresco dining is offered under the shaded protection of the hardtop. A retractable awning offers guests the flexibility to relax in the shade or to enjoy basking in the sun.

Stand out features: The aft deck has al fresco entertainment and dining amenities around an oval table, while up on the sun deck is a bar, fridge, and a Jacuzzi forward surrounded by sun pads. A special feature is a fully certified helipad. Twin 1,770hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 14 knots while a 69,000 litre fuel tank allows for a range of over 4,000 nautical miles.

The basics: A classic example of the late Jon Bannenberg’s world-renowned design flair, Coral Ocean will be one of the largest yachts for sale at the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2018. Launched by Lürssen in 1994 and fresh from a 2016 refit, she sports accommodation for up to 12 guests and 19 crew in a 1,379GT interior.

Stand out features: Coral Ocean's aft spa area was ahead of its time in 1994 and still impresses today, with a gym, beach club and mosaic-lined sauna.
