The 37.9 metre motor yacht Genesis, listed for sale by Paul Brackley at Central Yacht in Hong Kong, has been sold to an Asian client with no other broker involved.
Built in GRP by Italian yard New Versilcraft to a design by Alessandro Lombardi, Genesis was delivered in 2010 as one of the yard’s Planet 122 models. A classically styled interior in cherry veneers with cream furnishings accommodates up to nine guests in four cabins comprising a master suite, two VIP suites and a twin with a Pullman berth. All cabins have entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities while a further three cabins sleep up to six crewmembers.
The main deck saloon comes with large settees to port and starboard, stretching to the entire length of the lounge area while forward is a full wet bar and a formal dining area with seating for 10 guests. Upstairs is an upper saloon with further comfortable seating, an entertainment centre with a large screen television set and an electric sun roof allowing daylight to stream in.
Outdoor spaces are extensive and include a substantial aft deck for al fresco entertainment and dining, while the flybridge offers built in sun pads and a hot tub. Notably, the foredeck has been turned into an entertainment space, with sun pads and built in seating plus two tables to offer relaxation in total privacy.
A powerful propulsion package sees three 1,825hp Caterpillar diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 22 knots, topping out at 25 knots.
The asking price of Genesis has been withheld.
