Vripack joins Northrop & Johnson to offer superyacht Orion for sale

A call to Maarten Ten Holter at Vripack Yacht & Ship confirms that he's now signed a joint central agency for sale of the 27.4m catamaran sailing yacht Orion with Chuck MacMahon and Joost Goverts at Northrop & Johnson. And her asking price has come down by changing from Euros to dollars.

Built by Catana in 2008 for an experienced catamaran yachtsman, she's the largest yacht so far from this highly respected builder.

Orion sleeps eight owners and guests in four staterooms, and up to four crew in two cabins. The interior panelling and cabinetry is built in the finest French cherrywood and almost all of this impeccable carpentry is foam cored for lightweight strength and stability.

Orion is a very light and airy yacht with 20 opening hull ports and 12 opening hatches and windows with screens and blinds, in addition to the huge sliding doors to the cockpit. Lying in Palma, Orion was asking €4.9 million and is now down to $5.9 million.
