Brokerage market round-up: February 19-23, 2018

SALES

An impressive 12 superyacht sales were announced this week as the US market continued its strong Q1 — seven of the yachts changing hands were priced in Dollars, including the 55 metre Turquoise. The total asking price was in excess of £42 million ($56 million) and the most active brokerage house was IYC, with four completed deals announced this week.

PRICE REDUCTIONS

Three price drops were announced on yachts for sale this week, for a total reduction of £2.1million ($2.8 million) and two of these reductions were higher than £500,000 ($673,000).

Princess Too was the subject of a major price drop announced this week

NEW LISTINGS

Eight yachts were listed for sale this week with a combined asking price in excess of £30 million ($40 million). The largest new listing was the 49.8 metre Benetti motor yacht FB215, which is listed for sale with Fraser.
