Superyacht concepts come in all shapes and sizes - radical, ordinary, revolutionary and bizarre. We round up the latest list of designs from the industry...

Designed by Turkish studio Red Yacht Design with Dykstra Naval Architects, the 64.2 metre ICE Kite superyacht combines kite sailing practices with standout superyacht features such as a swimming pool, bow-based helipad and extensive glass. Commissioned by a German entrepreneur in mid-2018, ICE kite will become the longest yacht in total length under 500GT when it is launched. Other details include a low resistance aluminium hull and carbon fibre superstructure.

This 70 metre aircraft-inspired superyacht concept Codecasa Jet 2020 “breaks the mould” of yacht design, Italian yard Codecasa said. The yacht sports a number of design features “borrowed” from aviation, such as air inlets and radar antennas in the “typical style of AWACS airplanes”. Elsewhere, the yacht includes a 20 metre sundeck with a swimming pool and covered gym. The main deck area meanwhile is dedicated to the owner’s suite, which the eight guests are accommodated on the lower deck.

Penned by Italian designer Luca Vallebona, the 61.5 metre concept Gravity is now at an “advanced stage” and features a vertical bow with a clean, sleek profile. Generous outdoor spaces are a key feature, with lounging areas on the sundeck, the beach club and bow, which also includes a pool and helipad. Accommodation meanwhile is for a total 14 guests in three VIPs, one twin and two doubles and the ultra-private owner’s cabin on the upper deck.
