New Superyachts at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2019

Maiora 30

The 30.5 metre Maiora 30 from the eponymous Italian yard is built from GRP and due for delivery this summer. With naval architecture and exterior design handled in-house, the Maiora 30 can accommodate a total of nine guests in a 250GT interior. The interior styling meanwhile has been undertaken by Fossati Design Bureau. Other key features include a walk-around flybridge and a sundeck with a dining area, custom spa pool and bar.

Arcadia Sherpa XL

Arcadia Yachts will debut their 23.8 metre “pocket superyacht”, the Sherpa XL at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Built on the success of the 16.8 metre Arcadia Sherpa shadow boat, the Sherpa XL features larger deck areas and a spacious interior volume thanks to its 6.9 metre beam. Designed inside and out by Hot Lab, the Sherpa XL is available in either a three or four cabin layout. The three cabin version features a galley on the lower deck and four cabin layout sees the galley placed on the skylounge.

Jangada 2

Launched in May, Van der Valk’s 32 metre custom series superyacht Jangada 2 will debut in Cannes after spending the summer cruising the Côte d'Azur. Designed and styled by Nick Top and Guido De Groot, Jangada 2 features a custom flybridge deck with an outdoor helm station, al fresco dining area and a wet bar. Accommodation on board is for a total of 11 guests split across five cabins, including a main deck owner’s suite

Extra 86 Fast

Italian yard Palumbo Superyachts will present its first 26.2 metre Extra 86 model in Cannes, alongside the Extra 130 and Extra 93 models. Launched in June, the Extra 86 was designed inside and out by long-term Palumbo collaborator Francesco Guida. Accommodation is for a total of eight guests in four cabins, including a full beam master, one large VIP and two twin cabins. Other features include a 50 square metre beach club and a sundeck at the bow.

Audace

Now the flagship of Italian yard Cantiere Delle Marche, the five deck 42.8 metre Audace was launched at the beginning of the year. Audace is equipped for adventure with a multitude of toys stored on the foredeck, including a Land Rover Defender, BMW motorbike, water-ski and crew tender. An additional tender sits on the main deck aft which is deployed by a 2.7 metre crane. There's evening entertainment for the guests on board too, with two nightclubs located on the lower and main decks.

Kando

The freshly launched first hull in AvA Yachts’ Kando 110 series of explorer yachts, Kando will has its international debut in Cannes after cruising the Côte d’Azur. Key features include four decks and accommodation for 10 guests across five double guest cabins. Designed and engineered in-house, Kando has a volume of 320GT and a range of over 6,000 nautical miles.

Sunreef Power 80

The Sunreef Power 80’s global premiere in Cannes will come just a few months after tennis superstar Rafael Nadal commissioned one for himself. The 24 metre catamaran motor yacht comes in a number of customisation options, including the possibility of a waterfall-fed superyacht spa pool on the upper deck, alongside an upper helm position and retractable hardtop. Options are also available for the interior layout. Owners can choose to include a dining area within the main deck full beam saloon, as well as a bar and open galley. Total accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests and four crew members.

Sirena 88

The newly launched flagship of Turkish yard Sirena Yachts, the 26.81 metre Sirena 88 sports exterior design by Frers Naval Architecture and interior styling by Cor D Rover. A “dipping pool” sits on the foredeck while a bar, dining table, settee and spa pool are key features of the flybridge. Accommodation is for a total of 10 guests in five staterooms, with the master located on the main deck. The crew quarters meanwhile allows for a staff of four in a private sitting room and two cabins.

Lady Elaine

Lady Elaine, the first hull in Canados’s 120 Caesar series, will make her debut at Cannes after a summer cruising the waters of Southern Italy. The fully custom 37 metre yacht is the owner’s third Canados and features an in-house exterior and interior styling by Cristiano Gatto. The interior features a large selection of marble and wood chosen by the owner, while the galley was custom made by Italian kitchen designer Boffi. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins, with the owner’s suite featuring two fold-out terraces. Elsewhere, the yacht includes floor to ceiling main deck side glass walls and a raised pilothouse.
