Heesen Project Nova

Project Nova

Silence is golden on this in-build 49.8 metre from Heesen, but her hybrid diesel electric propulsion will also offer relatively eco-friendly consumption.

Project Nova will burn 98 litres per hour at 12 knots and only 57 litres per hour at 10 knots. She will still have a respectable 16.3 knot top speed with her main engines and reach 9 knots with hybrid diesel electric propulsion and boast a transatlantic range.

The hull and superstructure were joined in January 2016 with the build on track for delivery in Spring 2017. Project Nova features in our favourite Heesen superyachts.

Meanwhile, Project Ruya has reached the outfitting phase and Project Alida is also under construction. As we look forward to Project Alida's 2017 delivery, interior designer Dickie Bannenberg gave us his thoughts on its top design features.
