Amels 188

The in-build 57.7 metre Amels 188 is the first hybrid Limited Editions and will feature Amels’ hybrid switchboard and waste-heat recovery system.

Amels became the first Dutch yacht builder to meet the new IMO regulations when it completed engineering tests on the Amels 188 design.

The yard believes that it could offer a €150,000 return on investment over a three-year period. The engineering phase is completed and the first hull is expected to be delivered in spring 2018.

Reymond Langton Design penned the interior, which they describe as contemporary but warm, and Tim Heywood designed the exterior.

Amels is also working on the 83m Limited Editions 272, the first 73.5m Amels 242 Project Freefall, and the second Amels 242 Project 7402.
