30 Seconds on Board: The World’s Coolest Yacht Videos

Our 30 Seconds On Board video series dives into the world’s coolest superyachts for a whistle-stop tour of their interiors, revealing hidden secrets and star features…

T6

BOAT jumped on board the 48.53-metre explorer yacht T6 at the 2019 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. With an extraordinary range of 11,000 nautical miles, T6 has a dedicated helicopter hangar for the yacht's Airbus AS350 B3 helicopter, with fuel storage and a massive tender garage.

Endeavour 2

Launched in 2017, Rossinavi’s 49.9 metre Endeavour II features exterior styling by Team For Design and naval architecture by Arrabito. Interior décor comes courtesy of Salvagni Architetti. Accommodation on board is for a total of 10 guests split between an owner’s cabin, two doubles and two twins.

Minderella

Currently for sale with Y.CO, this 57.3 metre Feadship was designed by Mauro Micheli with Frits De Voogt developing the naval architecture. Built in steel and aluminium, Minderella sleeps 10 guests in five cabins.

Utopia IV

Utopia IV was commissioned in November 2014 to replace Utopia III, the previous yacht of owners JR and Loren Ridinger. The 63 metre Rossinavi superyacht includes a number of standout features including custom made sculptures, a glass sided swimming pool and spacious beach club. Rossinavi previously described the boat as “the perfect compromise between a tri-deck motor yacht and a pure speed boat”.

Vijonara

Vijonara, the second hull in Pendennis' Hoek-designed Truly Classic 128 series, received her long awaited worldwide debut at this year's Monaco Yacht Show. We hopped on board to look around. The 38.8 metre sloop-rigged superyacht features a 2.85 metre bowsprit, which allows Vijonara to fly a downwind asymmetric spinnaker or a Code sail. The yacht was designed around the needs of family cruising, with accommodation for up to six guests split across three staterooms including an owner’s suite, a double cabin and a twin cabin.

Iceman

Currently listed for sale with KK Superyachts for an asking price of €4,500,000, Iceman was delivered in 2009. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins and quarters for four crew. Iceman also features a private sunbathing spot on the foredeck, complete with sun pads and Jacuzzi. The large open-plan saloon meanwhile has port and starboard black leather settees, coffee table and a bar.

Book Ends

Serial owner Bob Book was almost ready to give up yachting when he laid eyes on Project Ruya, the 47 metre spec-built Heesen that was launched in early 2017. When perusing her bright, modern interior by Bannenberg & Rowell, it's easy to see why he was immediately won over and decided to snap her up. We stepped on board the 18th yacht to bear the name Book Ends at the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Horizon RP110

The RP110 is one of Horizon Yachts' most popular models and it's not hard to see why. Introduced in 2013, this 35.35 metre motor yacht has gone on to spawn five hulls in the following four years. We stepped on board Horizon RP110/04 at the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to see the secrets of this Espinosa design's success.

Legend

From her Balinese spa to her lavish cinema room and cosy fireside piano lounge, there’s no mistaking 77.4 metre Legend. Originally launched in 1974 by IHC Vershure, she has been transformed into a luxury globetrotter by Dutch yard Icon Yachts. Her extensive interior includes a vast sundeck, refined wheelhouse and a palatial master suite. With such a dizzying array of star features, it’s no wonder she’s a charter favourite. Legend is currently listed for charter with Y.CO.

Ngoni

When Royal Huisman’s Project 398 was announced at the Monaco Yacht Show 2014, the yard revealed the owner’s brief: “Build me a beast. I don’t want a wolf in sheep’s clothing.” Three years later, we know what he meant by beast.

The final yacht designed by the late Ed Dubois, Ngoni was launched in March 2017 with delivery shortly afterwards. Her towering 75 metre carbon fibre Rondal mast carries a total sailplan in excess of 3,000 square metres.
