Rossinavi delivers 66m Vitruvius superyacht Alchemy

Rossinavi has delivered its new 65.7-metre superyacht Alchemy, marking the second delivery of the year for the Italian shipyard.

Set to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, Alchemy features a signature Vitruvius hull by Philippe Briand, who worked in collaboration with Rossinavi to develop the yacht's naval architecture. Meanwhile, Venice-based studio Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design helmed the yacht's interior.

Fitted with diesel-electric propulsion, the tri-deck superyacht has been built to fulfil an owner's brief for large al fresco areas and a strong focus on wellness. The result is over 330 square metres of outdoor space and plenty of amenities, including a jacuzzi and numerous sunpads. The owner has been represented by Fabrizio Loi of USA-based Interyachting LLC, while inspections have been carried out by Mike Worthington-Lees of Winterbothams Ltd.

The 1,194GT yacht has a six-cabin layout with a large beach club and massage room with arch-like windows, according to the yard. Rossinavi said: "Great importance has been given to the study of light and reflections. During the day, the overall area allows for natural light to come in through the opening of the hatch. The marble monoliths create a checkerboard wall, in which the light creates very special reflections, giving life to rhythmic patterns from the zen mood of the marble wall."

Elsewhere, the garage area has enough space to store a variety of accessories including a pair of tenders of seven metres and eight metres long, plus an inflatable dock and mountain bikes.

"The key word for this vessel is balance," explained Federico Rossi, chief operating officer of Rossinavi. "With Philippe Briand, we were able to best express the know-how and skills we have gained through decades of experience; together we were able to work in synergy under the precious guidance and presence of the owner."

One of the highlights of the interior is a suspended staircase that takes centre stage in the main saloon and connects the bridge to the upper deck, creating a connection with suspended glass steps supported by two partitions of white Carrara marble.

"I was very lucky to meet this owner, who guided and empowered the entire team involved in the creation of his superyacht," said Philippe Briand. "A real 'Alchemy', as the name evokes, a combination of elements, which leads to an original and refined result: a streamlined and elegant three-deck vessel, 66-metre long, that fits perfectly with what Vitruvius Yachts represents."

Alchemy will make her world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September. New images of the vessel are expected to be released in the coming months.
