Turkish yacht builder Bering Yachts has revealed a 22 metre explorer yacht model called the Bering 72.
The Bering 72 is based on the same technical platform as the Bering 65 and features the same “rugged expedition-style lines’” the yard said. After gathering feedback from the owners and captains of the B65, the yard developed this “bigger and better” model.
Inspired by classic expedition yachts, the B72 features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
Living areas are spread across three decks and include a large saloon and full-beam galley on the main deck.
The standard layout includes accommodation for a total of eight guests in three cabins and a full-beam master suite forward, however owners can customise the accommodation layout to include five or six cabins, with or without a crew cabin. Natural light will flood the interiors thanks to panoramic windows built into the superstructure.
Elsewhere, the yacht features storage for two tenders, as well as a flybridge and al fresco dining and lounging areas on the foredeck.
Power comes from twin Cummins 327-hp diesel engines for a range of more than 5000 nautical miles at a speed of seven knots.
