Feadship launches 93 metre superyacht Project 814

Feadship has launched one of its biggest superyachts to date; the 93 metre Project 814.

The yacht, which has been under construction for five years, was finally unveiled for the first time on Saturday, October 19 at the Dutch yard’s Royal van Kent facility in Kaag.

The owners, who were present at the launch, said: “We want to thank Jan-Bart Verkuyl and everyone at Feadship for taking us on an amazing journey.”

Featuring exterior design by Michael Leach Design and Feadship De Voogt naval architects, Project 814 will “set a new standard in luxury,” according to the Dutch yard.

The yard also described Reymond Langton’s interior design as “akin to a beautiful and contemporary jewellery box.”

The yacht is now due to undergo further commissioning work, including the addition of balconies and wing stations, which will be installed in the coming months. Project 814 will remain covered during the winter.

While details remain sparse, Feadship has revealed Project 814 has a 14.10 metre beam and a number of stand-out superyacht features.

These include a two deck IMAX theatre, fully certified helipad and four VIP cabins. The yacht will also be equipped with a number of sports facilities for golf, basketball, volleyball and football.

Feadship has promised Project 814 will be seen in her “splendid glory next spring.”
