Project Triton leaves shipyard

The 50 metre superyacht Project Triton has hit the water and will now leave the Dutch Shipyard to undertake 5 days of sea trials in the North Sea.

Heesen design

Project Triton is an in-build motor yacht by Heesen. It is the second 50 metre Steel Class superyacht by the shipyard and will be the sister ship to Omaha, which was delivered in July 2018.

Reymond Langton interiors

British Studio Reymond Langton has designed the interiors on board Project Triton, which can host ten guests in five suites. The master cabin is located on the main deck forward while the four guest cabins are found on the lower deck.

Geometric finishes

Project Triton's contemporary interiors are finished with furnishings that follow a geometric theme.

Project Triton exterior

Project Triton is a full-displacement steel hull with an exterior designed by Clifford Denn and characterised by a flared, bulbous bow and sheer lines. Classic cars including "Austin Healey, Old Porsche, and Alfa Spider are the cars that inspired the exterior design', Heesen's Mark Cavendish has explained.

On board features

Features on board this superyacht include a tender and toy storage on the fore deck as well as an elegant beach club with a dedicated wellness area. Despite her spacious layout, Project Triton remains under 500GT.

Cruising capacity

Described by the shipyard as 'a true bluewater motor yacht', Project Triton is powered by twin MTU 8V4000 M63 engines that allow her to reach a top speed of 15 knots. At a cruising speed of 12 knots she has a a transoceanic range of 3,800 nautical miles.

2020 delivery

The Heesen superyacht is set for delivery at the end of February 2020 and according to Mark Cavendish has already received interest from potential buyers in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Russia.
