ISA Yachts sells first ISA Super Sportivo 100 GTO

ISA Yachts, part of the Palumbo Superyachts group, have announced the first sale of their latest model, the ISA Super Sportivo 100 GTO.
Sold to a European customer, the 30.5 metre vessel was designed by Architect Marco Casali of Too Design and is slated for delivery next year.
The Super Sportivo will be a contender for one of the fastest models on the market; powered with three 2000 HP engines, it will reach maximum speeds of up to 50 knots. The hull and superstructure, built with epoxy based vinylester resin with carbon fiber and Kevlar reinforcements, will combine optimum lightness and strength to aid performance. Buyers will be able to choose between completely customisable models ranging from three to five guest cabins.
According to architect Marco Casali, "ISA Super Sportivo 100ft GTO stems from the idea of creating a boat that would exalt the values of sportiness and seaworthiness typical of an open boat.
“The sleek lines are highlighted by the tall V-shaped bow and by the profile rapidly declining towards the stern. The sizeable open surfaces at the bow and stern make it unique in its category, while the hard top large opening glass panels ensure maximum comfort even in the cockpit extensive covered areas. The performance of the boat is stylistically enhanced by the large air intakes with a dynamic function for those positioned above the hard top."
Speaking on the announcement of this news, Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts, added: "We strongly believe in this ISA Super Sportivo line and we are very pleased to start building this first model that we are positive it will be a great success."
Scheduled for delivery in 2020, the ISA Super Sportivo 100 GTO will be built in Italy at Palumbo's Ancona shipyard.
