Edmiston & Company in London tells me that the company acted for the buyer in the recent sale of Benalex, while Jeremy Comport of Camper & Nicholsons in Antibes was the central agent for sale. Launched in January 2004, Benalex is a 35m Benetti Classic and features a five cabin layout for 10 guests in an owner’s suite, two VIP suites and two further twin cabins. Her Zuretti-designed interior features cherry wood, luxury furnishings and marble bathrooms. She cruises at 14 knots, has a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 3,200 miles at 11 knots. She will now come off the charter market and become a private yacht.
