Tom Allen, central agent for 25.4 metre Zeewoelf at Fraser Yachts Seattle reports that the Dutch explorer yacht has only just come onto the market. Launched in 1960, designed by Shipyard de Boot and built by De Vooruitgang, the yacht underwent a major refit in 2000-2002 during which time she was completely sandblasted and epoxied.
With a steel hull and a maximum speed of ten knots from the yacht’s single 407hp Caterpillar engine (700 hours), Zeewoelf has a formidable range of 4,000 miles. Currently lying in Enhuizen, Holland, the yacht’s asking price is $1.6 million.
