It’s great to be the bearer of good news as I call Damian Sibley at Hyde Yachts who confirms that he acted for the buyer in today’s sale of Feadship’s 49.9m motor yacht High Chaparral, a central agency listing with Alex Lees-Buckley at Camper & Nicholsons.
Built by the De Vries yard in 2004 and refitted in 2008, she offers outstanding accommodation for up to 12 guests, top end entertainment, state-of-the-art ship’s systems and a complete array of water sports equipment. When delivered, High Chaparral was in the opinion of the builders the quietest and most comfortable superyacht of her type they had built to date. Damian tells me that the asking price was €31 million.
