73m Picchiotti Vitruvius hull C.2189

The third Picchiotti Vitruvius superyacht has been transferred from Perini Navi’s Turkish facility to its La Spezia yard for for the final stage of its build.

Hull C.2189 will be the largest Vitruvius motor yacht when she is delivered. Like her two predecessors, Exuma and Galileo G, this 73 metre steel and aluminium project was designed by Vitruvius Ltd and Philippe Briand. They are characterised by an efficient hull shape to optimise comfort and autonomy.

The interior, designed by Rémi Tessier, accommodates 12 guests and a crew of 22, and has an upper deck dedicated to wellness with a gymnasium, sauna and spa.

The flagship of the Vitruvius series will have diesel-electric propulsion with two stern Azipods giving a top speed of 16.5 knots and a range of 7,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.

The Picchiotti Vitruvius hull C.2189 will be delivered in 2013.
