Silent Resorts, a division of Austrian solar electric catamaran builder Silent Yachts, has announced plans for a second "fully solar-powered" marina and residence resort in Fiji, as the inaugural Bahamas location nears completion.
Silent Resorts seeks to create communities that are "100 per cent powered by the sun" and free of "invasive infrastructure or diesel generators". Last year, work began on the first luxury retreat in Exuma, the Bahamas, which is scheduled to be finished by early 2024.
