A call to Marco Vandoni at Ocean Independence in Monaco confirms that he's just closed on the sale of his central listing, the 69.49m motor yacht Nomad, with the buyer introduced by Philippe Mahot of Navigator.

Nomad was built by Oceanfast in 2002 to Lloyds class. Previously known as Floridian and prior to that, Aussie Rules, this superyacht had significant refits in 2005 and 2008.

She has been beautifully designed for comfortable cruising and long range exploration and, MCA compliant, accommodates 12 guests in a master, three double and two twin staterooms. With a cruising speed of 15 knots, Nomad has a massive range of 8,500 nautical miles at 12 knots and was asking $61.5 million.
