During this year's Monaco Yacht Show, artisanal bedding company Frette hosted a cocktail party in collaboration with BOAT International. The pair invited industry figures in the design world, shipyards and yacht owners to spend an enjoyable evening socialising within the decadent Belle Époque walls of Hôtel de Paris in Casino Square, Monte Carlo.
The venue
The scene was set by Frette's bedding exhibition A Bespoke Voyage of Italian Craftsmanship, featuring a whimsical, hot air balloon yacht brought to life in collaboration with partners Cassina and Technogym. Highlights included the Bio-mbo bed (designed by renowned architect Patricia Urquiola) and the smart treadmill Technogym Run, equipped with training options and digital workout content for fitness, sport performance and health. Canapés and drinks were served throughout alongside live musical entertainment.
