The sixth edition of Superyacht Interiors was officially released during the 2023 Salone del Mobile Milano (the Milan Furniture Fair), at a launch event hosted by Ralph Lauren. Each year, BOAT International curates the definitive "little black book" for owners and captains looking for decor inspiration from the world's biggest designers. This year was no exception, with last week's guests being the first to find out about 2023's key design trends – from the colour palette of the moment to rippled sofas, ‘wine walls’, open-air gyms, and more.
The venue
The event was held in Ralph Lauren's flagship store on Via Della Spiga in Milan, covering five floors of nearly 1,500 square metres. The location also houses the brand's first hospitality experience in Italy, hosted throughout the store, interior bar and courtyard. Guests were able to try the experience for themselves, with free-flowing canapes and specialised cocktails provided by the venue. Wine throughout the evening was supplied courtesy of Tuscan winery Antinori – the tenth oldest company in the world.
The guests
The event offered guests the opportunity to catch up with industry friends and unwind after the day's trade fair exhibition. Those in attendance could be seen looking through the book's contents for the first time, with each guest receiving a complimentary copy of the Superyacht Interiors Volume 6 to take home at the end of the evening.
