Built in GRP and delivered in 2014 by Italian superyacht yard ISA to RINA class,Silver Wind is designed by Andrea Valicelli with a Nuvolari Lenard interior. Accommodation is for up to 10 guests in five cabins comprising a main deck master suite, VIP suite and three double cabins, all with en suite facilities. In addition, the master suite connects to a lower deck gym with a balcony giving direct access to the sea.
The saloon and public areas are decorated in a delicate blend of Canaletto walnut, natural colours and Hermes silk panels to create a warm, natural theme throughout. Up on the flybridge there is plenty of space for al fresco entertaining and dining, aided by a bar, large sun pads and an extensive seating area under a GRP hard top.
Together with a traditional propulsion system consisting of two MTU 16V 4000 M93L diesel engines driving two Rolls-Royce KaMeWa water jets, the electric-poweredSilver Wind runs at a maximum speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots, and is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system supplied by Siemens. In hybrid mode, cruising at 8 knots with the two main engines off, the total fuel consumption is 90 litres per hour for a range of 2,600 nautical miles.
On display at the Monaco Yacht Show, Silver Wind is down from €18.9 million to €16.5 million.
