Bob Martin at Allied Marine gets in touch to say he’s just sold a 25.6m Ferretti Altura 840 motor yacht built in 2010.
Sleek and fast, the Altura 840 has twin 1823hp MTU engines delivering a cruising speed of 27 knots and a range of 500 nautical miles at 11 knots. Accommodation is for eight guests in a master suite, VIP stateroom and two twin cabins.
Bob rhapsodises, “She has a uniquely open design that transmits the light throughout the yacht giving the feel of a much larger yacht. She is state of the art through and through from Anti-Rolling Gyro (2 x 4000 Series) to her Naviop control system with just about every bit of data on the yacht available on a 15-inch touchscreen display.” The Ferretti Altura 840 was asking $6.1 million.
