Amels superyacht Seahorse back on the market

The 52 metre Amels motor yacht Seahorse is back on the market, listed for sale by Vesa Kaukonen at KK Superyachts in Monaco.

She was withdrawn from sale in late 2015 to undergo a five-month extensive refit at Icon Yachts in Holland. The refit included interior and exterior restyling, new tenders and jet skis, and the installation of brand new Quantum zero speed stabilizers among many further technical upgrades.

Amels has built one of the world’s most successful semi-production series called the ‘Tigre d’Or’ series, initially at 50 metres and then at 52 metres. In these sizes they built eight hulls between 1997 and 2003, including Seahorse. Even their current range of 'Limited Edition' yachts, designed by Tim Heywood, is based on this simple but well-proven formula.

Built in steel and aluminium with delivery in 1999 and previously refurbished in 2007, Seahorse has a new interior by H2 Design accommodating 12 guests in six cabins including a master suite, two doubles and three twins, all with en suite facilities. In addition, 14 crew are accommodated in a double captain’s cabin and six twins, all with en suite showers.

Public areas are spacious and comfortable and all come with flat screen televisions. For a spot of al fresco relaxation and dining, the sun deck offers ample seating, sun pads, an electric grill, ice maker, fridge and a Jacuzzi tub, all sheltered by a removable awning.

Twin 1,200hp Cummins engines on this yacht for sale give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 14 knots. She has a range of 6,800 nautical miles at 12 knots. Both engines were rebuilt by Cummins, Holland in December 2014 and Seahorse is in excellent condition due to several refits, including this latest upgrade.

Seahorse is asking €21,888,888.
