A tip-off gets me calling Neal Esterly of Fraser Yachts aboard the 27.43m motor yacht Kauhale Kai where he's just closing on her sale with Tim Johnson at Ardell representing the buyer.
Kauhale Kai is an all-aluminium expedition motor yacht built by ABD Aluminium in 1996 and refitted in 2008. Sleeping six guests in three staterooms, this superyacht cruises at 10 knots.
Neal tells me that the previous owners logged 50,000 cruising miles and the buyers anticipate doing the same.
Kauhale Kai was asking $3.95 million.
