News of another motor yacht on the market arrives from Jim Elliott at Ardell as he signs the 26.8m Altamar for sale.
Built in GRP by Knight & Carver in 1988, she has a master suite and two guest staterooms, each with twin and queen size berths, while twin 1050hp Caterpillar engines enable a cruising speed of 12 knots.
In 2006/07 Altamar underwent a thorough exterior, mechanical and interior refit, including adding timber saloon panels, all new furnishings and décor, two new 30kW gensets and a new 18KW genset. The electronics were also updated and, now lying in San Diego, Altamar is asking $2.2 million.
