The 44 metre Benetti superyacht Checkmate is back on the market with Northrop & Johnson with an adjusted asking price of $19,700,000.
Delivered by the Italian yard in 2013, Checkmate is hull No 18 in Benetti’s Vision yacht series.
Her black and white two-tone exterior makes Checkmate a striking yacht on water or in the marina. Other design features distinguish her from her sisterships such as her larger square port hulls that give better views, a custom skylounge that has an increased number of windows, and an extra day head on the sun deck.
Her custom-designed interior is described as ‘contemporary chic’ but traditional, with touches of Burl Madrona woods and Italian marble.
Checkmate sleeps 12 guests in five staterooms, including a master suite on the main deck, and has separate accommodation for 10 crew.
Amongst her outdoor highlights are the spa pool aft and curved seating forward on the flybridge and a table and sun pads nestled in her bow on the main deck.
Twin Caterpillar engines enable a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of approximately 3,500 nautical miles, while zero-speed stabilisation ensures comfort at sea and in port.
Checkmate is asking $19,700,000 with Northrop & Johnson.
