Tom Sanders at HMY Yacht sales tells me that the owner of the long range 54.9m motor yacht Stargazer has authorised a $1 million price reduction on this joint central agency with his colleague Paul Madden and Mark Elliott at International Yacht Collection.
Built by Louisiana's Zigler yard in 1964, Stargazer has had a number of illustrious owners, including Henry Ford II, and has hosted a galaxy of celebrity charter clients such as Frank Sinatra, Sean Connery and Hugh Hefner. Still very much a part of the charter circuit, she sleeps 12 guests in six ensuite staterooms and has a range of 5,000 nautical miles powered by twin 1000hp Caterpillar engines. Located in Miami, Florida, Stargazer is now asking $6.9 million.
